Mastodon For A Blue Wave 2024

November is about more than winning the White House. We need to win up and down the ballot and across the country. Here are three organizations working on that. Connecting Mastodon users with these organizations is another way to bring Mastodon to the attention of progressive causes and candidates. Split your donation how you like; default is 1/3 each.

  1. Swing Left: a grassroots organization founded in the aftermath of 2016. The organization focuses on building progressive power in the states. I have worked with them for years. They get results, especially in winning Democratic majorities in key state legislatures. Learn more about their efforts at https://sisterdistrict.com/.
  2. Way to Win: Supports local and regional organizing to elect candidates committed to building a multiracial democracy in America. More about the parent organization at https://waytowin.us/.
  3. Indivisible: Needs no introduction, but more info at https://www.indivisible.org/.
