Matt Blake for Iowa Senate

Matt Blake has dedicated his life to his family and to public service.

 

Matt attended Drake University Law School. Major Matt Blake is a JAG officer in the Iowa National Guard, and has been deployed in Kuwait and Iraq in 2021. He and his wife chose Urbandale to start and raise their family. He served on the Urbandale City Council from 2019-2023. Matt is an attorney with the Dickinson Bradshaw law firm.


Iowa needs leaders at the Statehouse who do what is right, instead of catering to the extremes. Matt’s experience in the military and on City Council demonstrates a history of common sense leadership focusing on policies that bring us together.
