Donate to Win the Special Election for Matt Gaetz's Seat

This fundraising page was set up to help Florida Democrats win the special election for Matt Gaetz's old house seat.

The goal of this page is to fund the four local county-level Democratic parties that make up Florida's 1st Congressional District and will be critical to our Get Out The Vote efforts.

County-level parties are frequently the first point of contact for local volunteers, activists and new campaigns.

While the candidate themselves tend to raise vast sums of money for the election, the local party infrastructure that support them often run on shoestring budgets. This page hopes to correct that, at least for this district.

Escambia County Democratic Party - Committee for the largest county in Florida's first congressional district. Escambia county includes the city of Pensacola and has a population of 327,000 people.

Okaloosa County Democratic Party - Committee for the second-largest county in FL CD-01. It has a population of 218,000 people.

Santa Rosa County Democratic Party - Committee for the third-largest county in FL CD-01. It has a population of 203,000 people.

Walton County Democratic Party - Committee for the fourth-largest county in FL CD-01. It has a population of 86,000 people.
