Support Maui Fires: Relief, Recovery, & Rebuilding

Support immediate relief, a just recovery, and long-term rebuilding efforts.

From its tranquil beauty, Lāhainā is now marred by devastating wildfires, worsened by years of climate change and land and water use decisions that began during colonization and continue to this day. Maui and Hawai'i have mobilized, providing urgent aid to those affected.

But supporting families directly in their time of need is just the beginning. Rebuilding Maui will be a sustained effort spanning years, and it must be led by the people of Maui, not special interests looking to profit of devastation. Recovery means more than just immediate relief: it involves comprehensive wellness checks, amplifying our appeals for support from FEMA and state authorities, uniting our community through events, and establishing a solid foundation for health, safety, education, and recreation. The Maui Community Power Recovery Fund exists to support leaders and organizations who have been leading to address the root causes of the Maui Fires devastation for years, and will continue to be there when the cameras fade away.

The magnitude of this undertaking will demand investments in the billions. As we grapple with these enormous costs, it's imperative that we actively participate in legislative, regulatory, and policy arenas. Our community’s voice and strength are crucial to navigate these challenges and shape our future.

With your backing, we'll not only rebuild but thrive, ensuring that the people of Maui control their destiny and resources.

Your support powers our collective future. Join us.
