From the Ground Up: Fund May for Iowa

I'm running as a progressive Democrat for Iowa House District 58 because rural Iowans deserve better. Better healthcare, strong public schools, clean water, and a government that works for the people.


I’m not a career politician. I’m a nurse and a mom: someone who knows what it’s like to serve, to struggle, and to show up anyway. I’m running to fight back against corruption and extremism, and I believe we can build a more compassionate, just Iowa from the ground up.


In our launch phase, early support is critical. We’re up against well-funded opposition that’s willing to lie and suppress votes to hold onto power. I’m ready to listen, to learn, and to stand up for every person in this district—but I can’t do it alone.
