Our speaker will be Lisa Schurr
Lisa Schurr a co-founder and now CEO of Support Our Schools will outline what voters can do to protect our "A" rated schools. Support Our Schools began in January 2022 by four moms dismayed by the culture wars and the behavior that they had witnessed at Sarasota County school board meetings. Their mission is to educate the public about the threats facing public education through defunding and to rally the public to advocate on behalf of our public schools.
