In just her first 3 years in office, La'Tasha passed the Pennsylvania CROWN Act to end hair discrimination, co-founded and is co-chair of the PA Black Maternal Health Caucus to continue her long legacy of work fighting for Reproductive Justice that included spearheading the introduction of the groundbreaking PA MOMNIBUS 1.0 and 2.0 legislative packages, and she was appointed to the powerful Appropriations, Judiciary and Health Committees.
La'Tasha has brought back over $50 million in public investments in the 24th Legislative District in the City of Pittsburgh, provided 553,000 constituents services, sponsored or co-sponsored over 440 bills this session and with her colleagues, won $31 million for Black maternal health in the 2025-2026 PA State Budget which is a $7 million increase - the largest investment to date.
