As Trump's attacks on immigrants intensify, we are called to also escalate our fight.
That's why this May 1st we will be in the streets marching. As this administration tries to disappear all of those who fight back, we reclaim our right to exist!
We are the immigrants. We are workers. We are parents and children and siblings. As much as this administration wants to get rid of us, we say aqui estamos y no nos vamos!
We also know that as workers our power lies in being the labor that this country refuses to recognize. That is why in addition to our mobilization on May 1st we are also calling for a 3-day statewide strike.
In New Jersey, CoreCivic and GEO Group are attempting to open up 3 more detention centers where they plan to lock us up. That is why we will be striking - we don't want detention centers in our state! Free them all!
Our own Cosecheros, immigrants themselves, will be participating in this 3-day strike - can you support them?
