Our mission is to help elect Democratic women to all levels of government and get women involved in politics in McHenry County. We are a great organization for you if you are looking to support women running for office or run yourself, find a community of like-minded women, learn more about politics, or find a place to get involved.

McCDW is a Democratic women’s organization with its purpose being to encourage, empower and support women running for partisan and non-partisan local and state offices. McCDW seeks to overcome the unique obstacles women encounter as candidates, particularly in raising funds, campaign management and attracting grassroots support.

Join us - or renew your membership! Annual membership is $25, but donations in any amount are needed and appreciated. New members, please fill out our Membership Form. The first $25 of any donation will be counted toward first-year membership dues. Full Membership is open to McHenry County women only and affords voting privileges however, we offer other membership options which ensure you are kept updated and invited to our events.
