It's no secret that in Texas we have a deeply broken school finance system. Across our state, parents, teachers and communities have been doing their best to offer the quality education our children deserve, only to be told each year that they need to do more with less. It's time we tell the politicians in Austin to stop shortchanging our schools. We can deliver meaningful education reform that puts more dollars in the classroom and gives our teachers the tools they need to do great work educating our students. And we can do it while closing a massive corporate tax loophole that has let out-of-state businesses send our tax dollars out of Texas.
