1866 Action Fund Endorses Miniard Culpepper for District 7 Boston City Council

THE 1866 ACTION FUND IS PROUD TO ENDORSE REVEREND MINIARD CULPEPPER FOR BOSTON CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT 7 IN THE NOVEMBER 4, 2025 RUNOFF.

The 1866 Action Fund is an Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee - a "Super PAC" - and a separate organization that can raise and spend unlimited funds to advocate for candidates — though it cannot coordinate or contribute funds directly to a campaign.

At 1866, our name honors the year Black politicians were first sworn into political office here in Massachusetts — they were also the first Black elected officials in the U.S. Since our founding in 2023, we’ve helped elect Black leaders across Massachusetts by investing in advertising, grassroots mobilization, and voter engagement.

Now, we’re ready to do the same for Rev. Culpepper, who advanced from a crowded field of eleven candidates — finishing just 58 votes out of first place - and is now in a razor-close runoff. Every dollar and every vote will be decisive in this race.
