Re-Elect Carey McDonald to the Malden City Council

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Malden City Councillor At Large! I've worked hard every day to build bridges across our diverse community, get the basics right, empower our residents' voices, and take action on city-wide issues. In my first term, I've been able to:

• Start Malden's first Climate Action Plan to protect our community from the climate crisis
• Support millions of dollars in new road construction and lead pipe removal with a city-wide strategy
• Lead the charge to develop the Malden Community Electricity program
• Chair the Finance Committee, and the Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Commission
• Support and sponsor community events like Maplewood Fest, PTO events, Malden Pride, and Malden Porch Fest
• Advocate for affordable housing zoning and resources
• Advance language access by sponsoring the first Chinese-language town hall and helping secure state funds for translation and interpretation
• Take the lead in creating a new Police/Community Advisory Council
• Advocate for after school programs and library funding

And we're just getting started! We are building a people-powered campaign for a more inclusive, imaginative and dynamic community. Every dollar and every vote matters in a local election. Thank you for your support!
