Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contribution Limits from the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance Individuals may donate up to $5,000 per calendar year (however, that maximum includes all donations to other Democratic ward, town, city, or state committees). State law prohibits corporate/business checks. Donations are not tax-deductible. Lobbyists may donate up to $200 per calendar year to us, and no more than $5,000 aggregate per year to any other Democratic ward, town, city, or state committees. Residents of Massachusetts under age 18 may donate an annual total of $25 to any political candidate or committee. State candidates can contribute an unlimited amount to our committee, unless they are in a year where they have accepted public financing. Candidates for all other state, county, and local offices may give to state and local party committees without limit. Cash is prohibited in any amounts greater than $50 in the aggregate per contributor per calendar year. Money orders are prohibited in any amounts greater than $100 in the aggregate per contributor per calendar year.
