Democrats’ climate bill is the framework Massachusetts needs to fight climate change, grow the economy, and promote environmental justice all at the same time. It sets ambitious goals to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and make our commonwealth a national leader on climate action.
When Governor Baker tried to weaken the bill, Democrats didn’t back down from our ambitious goals. They rejected the false choice between equitable, economic prosperity and the health of our planet. We can--and must--do both, and the NextGen Climate bill provides solutions that leave no community or worker behind.
Democrats are ready to take bold action on climate. A contribution from you today would help elect more Democrats committed to taking on climate change, growing our green economy, and advocating for environmental justice.
