MDP 2021 AAPI Heritage Month Celebrations Sponsorship
The Maryland Democratic Party is excited to spend the month of May celebrating AAPI heritage. We have three great events planned including:
- United Communities of Color: Anti-Hate Panel on Tuesday, May 18 at 7pm
- United Communities of Color: AAPI Youth Celebration on Sunday, May 23 at 5pm
- United Communities of Color: Honoring AAPI Health Care Heroes on Tuesday, May 25 at 7pm
We are seeking sponsors so that we can provide this programing for free to everyone and ramp up our operations for the 2022 campaign. Sponsorships are $500 and include:
- Prominent recognition on the three event invitations
- Verbal recognition during the three programs
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions or gifts to the Maryland Democratic Party are not tax deductible.
To comply with Federal Law, we must use best efforts to obtain, maintain, and submit the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions that exceed $200.00 in a calendar year. Your contributions will be used in connection with federal elections and is subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act.
