Yesterday, the House Intelligence Committee wrapped up a week of public hearings in the impeachment inquiry, and what a week it was.
We heard directly from Trump’s hand-picked Ambassador to the E.U., Gordon Sondland, that “everyone was in the loop” on Trump’s scheme to extract political favors from Ukraine, in exchange for official acts.
That damning evidence was just one of the many bombshells that dropped during the hearings this week, as the Democrats demonstrated their interest in obtaining facts while the Republicans continued to attack respected government officials and peddle their dangerous conspiracy theories.
The clearest take-away from these hearings, aside from the fact that Trump committed impeachable offenses, is that we need more Democrats and fewer Republicans in the House and Senate. Help us do our part to support Democrats across the country by contributing today.
