I'm Melissa Demyan and I'm running because, as a life-long organizer, I refuse to allow the American Dream to be stolen from our friends and families.


My generation - and future generations - are the first that are going to do worse than our parents. I don’t accept that we can’t change that, and I know many voters just like me agree.


If we want a future where that isn’t the case, we’re going to need a movement to champion affordable housing so we can afford to keep living in the wonderful communities around us, to balance our upside-down tax code and ensure corporations pay their share so we can fund child care, public education, healthcare for everyone, and ensure that no one gets left behind.
