Please join Senate Candidate Joanna Grossman and I at my home on May 28th, 6-8pm! Hear from Joanna about her platform, ask questions, and enjoy some light snacks.
Many of you know Joanna as a mom, a community organizer, a familiar face at Phoenix Books, and the co-host of Vermont politics podcast There's No "A" in Creemee. She's someone who looks ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐, not upwards at a political career. She knows that Vermont is our refuge, but that doesn't matter if our kids can't afford to stay here.
Why she has my vote:
โ Education Advocate: Joanna has been a strong and consistent advocate for our schools. From Champlain Elementary PTO to co-running the successful BHS bond campaign and is working to stop the $๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฐ๐๐๐ currently threatening Chittenden County schools.
โ A Fairer Tax Base: She's pushing for a ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ-๐ต๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ to fill the education fund and reduce the burden on Vermonters.
โ Healthcare for People: She believes we must prioritize ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐ by incentivizing primary care and reducing the power of healthcare monopolies.
โ Housing for Families: Joanna believes housing should be for families, not out of state investors.
โ Local Biz / Main Street Defender: She wants to level the playing field for our local businesses against corporate giants like Amazon. Joanna ran the campaign to keep Amazon's planned same-day deliver facility out of Vermont and stopped it from what could've been devastating impacts to our local shops.
Joanna has the grit to deliver a self-reliant future for Vermont. I hope you'll join me in supporting her. Come join us on May 28th!
