Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to MECA Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
The allocation for funds raised under this Agreement shall be as follows: The first $26,400 of each contribution from an individual or non-multicandidate committee will be split equally between Chrissy Houlahan for Congress, Mikie Sherrill for Congress, Elissa Slotkin for Michigan, and Spanberger for Governor. The first $40,000 of each contribution from a multicandidate committee will be split equally between Chrissy Houlahan for Congress, Mikie Sherrill for Congress, Elissa Slotkin for Michigan, and Spanberger for Governor. Any amount in excess of $26,400 from an individual or non-multicandidate committee and in excess of $40,000 from a multicandidate committee will be allocated to Spanberger for Governor. This joint fundraising agreement will not be soliciting from non-federally permissible sources. Any contribution from a non-federally permissible source (such as labor organization general treasury funds), will be allocated to Spanberger for Governor. The first $3,300 from an individual or non-multicandidate PAC and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate PAC allocated to Chrissy Houlahan for Congress, Mikie Sherrill for Congress, and Elissa Slotkin for Michigan will be designated for the primary election; the next $3,300/$5,000 will be designated for the general election, unless the primary election has already occurred, in which case the contribution will be considered designated only to the general election.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting spanberger@mbacg.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
