Mecklenburg County Democratic Party
Exciting, young new leaders have just taken over the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party. Their goal: build a grassroots operation in every precinct. The need is urgent. To win statewide - for president, Senate and governor - Mecklenburg County, home to the state's largest city, Charlotte, has to improve its turnout by tens of thousands.
Mecklenburg County has the most registered Democrats of any county in North Carolina. By itself, Mecklenburg has more registered democrats than the bottom fifty counties combined. And yet, it has one of the worst turnout percentages of any county in the state.
Help the newly energized, young Democratic leaders meet this challenge and make the county the key to wins for President Biden and the Democrat for governor in 2024.
