Meet Dr. Jag Lathan in the City of San Ramon

Hello, I’m Dr. Jag Lathan, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to connect with me and learn about my vision for education in Contra Costa County.


I am running for Contra Costa County Superintendent because I believe every child deserves access to safe schools, strong educators, and meaningful opportunities to succeed.


With more than 25 years of experience in public education, I have dedicated my career to improving student outcomes, supporting educators, and strengthening the partnership between schools and our communities.


I believe together, we can build a future where every student has the resources, opportunities, and support needed to thrive.


I look forward to meeting and connecting with each of you.
