Happy Hour with Rachna in Burke!

Please join hosts Jeff and Sally Wilklow at 9330 Raintree Rd., Burke, VA 22015 on Saturday, 9/21 from 4:00-6:00pm for a conversation with Rachna Sizemore Heizer about YOUR priorities for our schools. With live music by Jake Sizemore. Featuring Special guests, Congressman Gerry Connolly, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Sharon Bulova, Delegate Kaye Kory, Delegate Vivian Watts, Lee District Supervisor and Candidate for Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Jeff McKay, Candidate for Braddock Supervisor James Walkinshaw, and Braddock District School Board Member Megan McLaughlin. As well as our Host Committee: Susan and Tom Johnson, Karl Frisch and Evan Ayers, and Barbara Miller.

Rachna is a parent, educator, and advocate. She's running for Fairfax County School Board At-Large to ensure our schools provide a quality, consistent, strengths-focused, and equitable education for ALL. She is also an Indian American candidate who is looking to create a bridge between our school board and our growing diverse communities. In the Indian tradition, when people give gifts of money, they will often give $1 more than the amount they intended. The symbolism of the extra dollar given is to "grow on" for greater success. In honor of her heritage, we are hoping you will consider a donation to help "grow" her outreach with an extra dollar or two.
