I plan to run for the Salem School Committee in the 2025 election cycle. For me, this feels like a natural next step in my public service journey. I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge, connecting with even more members of our school community, and learning and listening along the way.
A new campaign requires some new funding - new signs - ekk! Any amount helps achieve this. Thank you!
When I first ran for office in 2019 - just six years ago, though it feels like a lifetime - so much has changed, both globally and right here in Salem. Through it all, I’ve had the unique perspective of being both a Salem Public Schools parent and an elected official. I’ve remained committed to our schools and proud to be a vocal supporter. I understand the challenges and complexities from different vantage points, but the one that matters most to me is as a parent.
Salem Public Schools are on a positive trajectory, and I want to help keep that momentum going. At the same time, I know there are uncertainties ahead. Essential conversations and decisions lie in front of us, and I believe it’s critical to approach them with compassion, transparency, and community engagement—just as I’ve strived to do throughout my time on the Council.
