Mel For Kansas State HD121
Mel is a mother on a mission to improve life for working Kansans. After taking unpaid maternity leave twice, she successfully lobbied her company to implement a fully paid 12wk parental leave policy for all new parents.
Now, she wants to use her experiences with balancing work, autoimmune disorders, daycare costs, caring for a cancer patient, and raising young children in a post-Uvalde, post-Roe world to help make Kansas a better place to live and raise a family.
