I'm Melissa DiSalvo, but most people know me as Missy.
I'm running for Town Council because I believe Ward 1 deserves a representative who listens first, communicates openly, and works collaboratively to solve problems that matter to residents every day.
My priorities:
Boonton is a special place to live, and I want to help ensure it remains a welcoming, connected, and thriving community for generations to come. That starts with listening to residents, understanding their concerns, and making thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs of our neighborhoods.
As a parent and active member of the community, I understand the importance of strong partnerships between local government, our schools, businesses, and residents. I believe the best solutions come from collaboration and meaningful community engagement—not decisions made without public input.
In my professional career, I've spent years leading projects, solving complex problems, and bringing people together to achieve common goals. I will bring that same practical, results-oriented approach to Town Council by focusing on accountability, transparency, and follow-through on the issues that matter most to residents.
My commitment is simple: to be accessible, responsive, and focused on making Boonton an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
