Tennessee is a Right-wing petri dish, but it doesn't have to be. Memphis - the biggest metro in the state and a city that is young, union and Black - can flip it.
What's missing is on-the-ground organizing. In the absence of big-donor dollars, Memphis For All is building the grassroots GOTV and voter contact infrastructure it will take. This cycle Memphis For All could send the first openly gay man to the State House, the first working class single mother to the State Senate, and help elect the first Democratic US Senator since Gore.
