Mercedes McKinley is an immigrant, mother, community organizer and an educator. Mercedes worked for the Clark County School District from 2018 until 2020 as a licensed teacher and tutor. She has also taught Environmental Science at the College of Southern Nevada Henderson campus. As a CCSD alum she is passionate about creating change in the district from the top down.
Her experiences in the classroom as a teacher and a student in the district makes her a powerful candidate that will drive change for our children.
