Marie is a Pro Choice mother and small business owner/employer. She is working in Congress to lift up The People of SWWA and America by addressing the challenges of working families, such as affordable healthcare, high quality childcare, and housing, as well as ensuring we all have the right to repair our purchases, such as vehicles and equipment. Marie supports lower taxes for workers, families, and small businesses and higher taxes on the wealthy and large corporations. She will protect Social Security and Medicare!
Marie is a true Rural Democrat who lives on a gravel road, built her own home nail by nail, gets her family’s water from a well, and internet from a radio tower. She has a degree in Economics from Reed College and grease under her nails from working at her successful auto repair shop alongside her husband, Dean. Marie is one of us!
