Michael Byrd is a Germantown native with a background in City government, affordable housing, zoning, land use, and community development.
He is running for Philadelphia City Council in the 8th District with a focus on responsive City services, housing stability and homeownership, responsible development, stronger commercial corridors and small businesses, fully-supported schools, recreation centers and libraries, opportunities for young people, government accountability, and making sure communities receive a fair share of public resources and investment.
