I’m Michael Valdez.
I’m running for re-election to the Edgewood ISD Board of Trustees because our students, educators, staff, and families deserve leadership that listens, prepares, and puts students first. As a proud graduate of Edgewood schools and a current trustee, I am committed to helping our district build on its strengths and meet the challenges ahead.
Since first being elected in 2022, I have worked to make thoughtful decisions on behalf of students, employees, families, and taxpayers. I have focused on strong academics, support for teachers and staff, responsible use of public resources, and opportunities that help every student succeed.
There is more work to do. Edgewood must address enrollment and budget challenges while protecting classrooms, student programs, special education services, fine arts, career and technical education, and safe, welcoming schools.
Your contribution will help us reach voters, share our message, and continue advocating for the schools Edgewood students deserve. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
