Democrats must fight hard & use the midterm environment, when the winds should be at their sails, to win a Senate Majority. This will ensure they can fight every step of the way for a fair shake for workers, lowering costs for Americans, and be a guardrail for sustaining our democracy.
To do so, the Democrats must flip 4 seats. This requires taking must-win elections in Maine & North Carolina, and then 2 more from an open seat in Iowa, Sherrod Brown return in Ohio, a Texas race where Talarico has a head start against a weak candidate with many scandals, Mississippi where farmers have taken a hit & a little money goes a long way for small donors, or Alaska where Peltola has previously shown she can win a statewide federal election and is one of the best shots at a flip this cycle.
Additionally, the environment this midterm is on the side of Democrats, and investing a little in smaller states with great candidates goes a long way! Left-leaning independent candidates like Osborne in NE & Bodnar in MT, alongside Dr. Annie Andrews in SC will carry the Democratic message in their states and have a chance to win a very valuable senate race for 6 years.
