In 2021, we came to you with a vision to Bring Pontiac Back to The People; To make the sweeping, life-changing improvement for the families that call this one-of-kind city our home. We are proud of the successes we’ve achieved over the last 3 years. Despite many obstacles, together we’ve accomplished what many said was impossible.
With your help, we have been able to:
- Establish the Stronger Housing Protections for Renters and Families.
- Create and implement a Community Based Responder program to better meet resident public safety concerns.
- Secure, Build and Invest in Safe, Sustainable and Affordable Housing for all Pontiac residents.
- Revive the Parks and Recreation Department to meet our communities needs and improve our community greenspace.
- Bring the Department of Public Works back in house to reduce the cost to taxpayers and improve the Quality of Life for Pontiac residents.
