I want to build an Iowa where our children and families have a future that gives everyone the freedom to live their lives. Recently, Republicans in the Iowa Senate have been putting politics above people, and I believe that Iowans deserve better. As State Senator, I will focus my efforts on ensuring that every family has a shot at a better future in the state by ensuring we are fully funding Iowa’s public schools, ensuring we provide more opportunities for people to move to rural Iowa to work, and guaranteeing people’s right to have the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.

Rural communities like Maxwell are slowly dying because of the Republicans in the Iowa Senate. My family has made rural Iowa our home. As Senator, I will advocate for Iowa’s small towns by protecting our public schools, main streets, and our neighbor’s freedoms in Des Moines.
