UPDATE!!! As of day 4, even though we met my goal, anything we raise now goes to Beyond the Moment, a national collaboration of 50 organizations building multi-racial resistance including Movement for Black Lives, Mijente, & It Takes Roots.
If there is one organization I trust to develop white working class anti-racism, it is Catalyst. While I have never been to historic Highlander, its movement building work is iconic in US and current work is awe-some.
Catalyst Project and Highlander Center are hosting a convening of organizations that are building anti racist power in poor and working class white communities.
From April 20-23, 40 leaders organizing with poor and working class white communities across the U.S. will gather at the historic Highlander Center to share skills, strategy, and analysis about building racial justice. Your donation will help make it happen!
