DONATE TO OUR CAMPAIGN

Meet Mike Austin—a proven leader, attorney, lifelong Ward 8 advocate, and public servant with the experience and vision to move Ward 8 forward. Mike is running for DC Council to build a safer, stronger, and more equitable Ward 8, and he’s no stranger to getting things done for our community.

As former Chairman of ANC 8C, Mike:

• Negotiated one of the largest Community Benefits Agreements in Ward 8 history

• Created the ANC 8C grant-making authority to support local organizations

• Oversaw the multi-million-dollar St. Elizabeth’s East development

He also served as Legislative Director to former Councilmember LaRuby May, shaping policy for over 80,000 Ward 8 residents. Mike is ready to bring bold, balanced leadership to the DC Council.

We're counting on grassroots donors like you to make that possible.

Ward 8 deserves someone who understands the challenges we face—and has the experience to create real, lasting change

We're fighting for a stronger Ward 8 for everyday families.
