The Missouri State Legislature just passed a bill to impose an absurd three-day waiting period for women seeking an abortion—without even an exception for rape or incest.
The bill now goes to the desk of Governor Jay Nixon, a so-called pro-choice Democrat who says he’s not sure whether he’ll veto the bill or not.
This bill is about only one thing and one thing only: harassing and shaming women who exercise their reproductive rights.
