Missourians for Healthy Families & Fair Wages

Donate to Missourians for Healthy Families & Fair Wages - Proposition A

Hardworking Missourians often face impossible choices. Parents decide between sending their children to school sick or losing a day’s pay because they don’t get paid sick days. Families choose between paying for groceries, housing, or utilities because the minimum wage has not kept up with rising costs. Seniors and veterans struggle between paying for prescriptions or putting food on the table because they simply cannot afford both on poverty-level wages.

Missouri's economy should reward hard work and not punish people with jobs for getting sick.

Proposition A will help hundreds of thousands of Missouri parents and children by providing paid time off from work in case of illness and gradually increasing the minimum wage. Proposition A was placed on the November ballot by over 850 Missourians who gathered over 210,000 signatures from every county in state. When passed Prop A will allow hard-working Missourians to earn the wages and time off off needed to take care of their families.
