Wisconsin has never elected a woman governor in 178 years of statehood, and Missy Hughes is running to change that.
Missy spent 17 years at Organic Valley, the largest farmer-owned organic cooperative in the country, where her work helped keep 1,600 family farmers on their land at a time when family-scale agriculture was being squeezed out of the market.
Governor Evers then asked her to lead the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, where she partnered with companies to invest $10 billion in our state, create 45,000 jobs, and help 9,500 Wisconsinites start small businesses in every one of our 72 counties. She lives on a small farm in rural Wisconsin and is raising three kids alongside her husband.
Now she is running for Governor with a clear plan to UNLOCK WISCONSIN, by building a Main Street Economy, making childcare affordable, fixing our broken healthcare system, and standing up for the Dairy State in the face of cuts and tariffs orchestrated by Trump and GOP friends like Tom Tiffany.
