Mitchel Schlayer for Florida House 80

Today's political realm is flawed for many reasons. People find out about unjust laws far too late, after they have already been passed. The House of Representatives is supposed to represent the public.

With your donation, the Mitchel Schlayer campaign will collect the largest database of opinions from the voting public of House district 80. It is time that government represent the needs of the constituents, and that the constituents are a welcomed part of the democratic process.

In addition to lack of constituent engagement, there is an effort to defund public schools, to censure history books, to take rights away from LGBTQ+ individuals and women, and to destroy the remaining preserve land that Florida still has. We need to work together because there is a lot of work to do.

It is critical that we continue to challenge these comfortable incumbents, continue to utilize our democratic systems, and to never stop working towards better quality of life for all people.
