As Raleigh's Planning Director, Mitchell led efforts to develop the city's comprehensive plan and Unified Development Code, with a vision of creating great streets, places, and spaces. Mitchell's vision focused on eight growth centers connected by 12 transit corridors.
During his campaign, Mitchell will focus on his experience in three key areas: quality growth, housing choice, and public safety.
