They Tried to Silence Me. I Won’t Back Down.

When I stood on the House floor demanding action on gun safety, a MAGA Republican sneered, “You better be careful, boy.”


That was a racist threat — meant to intimidate me into silence. But I refuse to stay quiet while gun violence tears through our communities.


Now the NRA is attacking me online. Let them. I don’t work for them — I work for the people. For families who deserve safety and justice.
