Background:
Maria’s List is a woman-powered political communication and donor hub. Its mission is to comb the country for amazing women and people of color candidates using electoral research as well campaign and movement analysis.
How it works:
We identify and support progressive women of color leaders in congressional districts and county-level down-ballot races with the goal of boosting turnout in low-propensity, high Democratic-support regions in key swing states while electing progressive women of color leaders in state legislatures.
For the remainder of this year, Maria’s List national will continue its strategy of funding the Southern progressive candidates that will deliver the turnout needed to elect Democrats to the White House, Congress, and state legislatures in November.
