Donate to MN350 Action

MN350 Action needs your support to keep sending climate champions to the Minnesota legislature. Can we count on you to donate to MN350 Action today to support climate justice in Minnesota?

MN350 Action is the political home for Minnesotans concerned about climate change. As a membership organization, we work to mobilize voters to elect climate champions and to demand an end to policies favoring fossil fuel interests over the interests of Minnesota communities.

Contributions to MN350 Action are not tax-deductible. If you'd like to make a tax-deductible donation, consider a gift to our companion organization, MN350, one of the leading nonprofit advocates for climate justice in the state.

Make it recurring for a free gift!

As a token of gratitude, monthly recurring donors will receive an MN350 Action tote bag with an inspiring image by a Minnesota artist.

Power MN350 Action’s work by giving an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or more and you’ll become a member of the Climate Visionary Circle.

Climate Visionary Circle members’ contributions enable us to go the distance for climate justice. In addition to the donor benefits listed above, Climate Visionary Circle members also receive free admission to our annual fundraising event and an MN350 Action T-shirt.

Planned Giving

We know that we will need to continue fighting for bold climate policies for generations to come. You can leave a legacy of resilience and hope with a planned gift commitment through one or more of these options:

Will or trust bequests

Making a bequest to MN350 Action allows you to retain your assets during your lifetime while leaving a generous legacy for the climate and for future generations. You can make a bequest by including a provision for MN350 Action in your will or trust. Bequests can include a percentage of your estate, a specific dollar amount, or property.

Beneficiary designations

Leaving retirement assets (IRAs, life insurance policies, bank or brokerage accounts) to MN350 Action will provide a solid foundation for our policy work for decades to come. You can designate MN350 Action to receive a percentage, a specific dollar amount, or the entire account.

Charitable remainder trusts

A charitable remainder trust generates a potential income stream for you or other beneficiaries, with the remainder of the donated assets going to MN350 Action. It can also help you diversify your assets without paying capital gains tax. In order to set up a charitable remainder trust, you transfer cash, securities, real estate, or personal property to a trust. The trust will then automatically make payments to you and MN350 Action for the term of the trust. When the trust terminates, the remaining assets transfer to MN350 Action.

Contact MN350 Action’s Chief Financial Officer to learn more or to let us know that we are included in your plans.
