At least 100 people have died and millions have been left without power after Hurricane Helene devastated the southern United States this past weekend. Due to the violent storm and historic flooding, many have been left homeless, with entire neighborhoods still underwater across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Hundreds of people are still missing, and many communities have completely lost internet and cell phone reception, meaning the true destruction caused by the hurricane is still not entirely known.
Right now, World Central Kitchen is on the ground providing fresh meals and delivering supplies where they’re needed most. Will you make a donation to support their humanitarian work?
