For the past year I've had the privilege to work alongside the bold and talented leaders of Never Again Action, a movement of Jews and allies taking direct action against ICE and its enablers. Detention centers and prisons are breeding grounds for disease because of the close quarters, lack of basic hygiene, and limited access to health services. And we continue to see horrors being carried out in detention centers across the country. Thousands of doctors are calling on ICE to empty the detention centers to prevent deaths that are otherwise certain to happen. Never Again is working to help free these individuals, and raising funds to provide the resources and structure to support them as we move forward.
We take seriously our long-term commitment to this work, and our obligations to our immigrant rights movement partners, grassroots volunteers, and employees.
