My name is Monica Palacio and I need your help to run for the At Large seat on the City Council this November.
I'm an advocate, a government leader, a mom, a lawyer and I have the strength to nurture our city. I have dedicated my career to public service in DC by working with kids exposed to violence, returning citizens and our most vulnerable communities.
I am running because I will bring an aggressive comprehensive plan that meets the needs of all DC students, our neighbors who are struggling to survive, and our local businesses so that we can put DC residents back to work.
I love Washington DC, and I know we can be a model city for the nation, where people from all backgrounds work together, where African American families feel safe, and immigrant communities can work without fear.
I am asking for your donation today because I can be the candidate that can bring unity and solidarity to our city. Every contribution right now will help me run and win the election this November. I’m taking small dollar donations from you and every dollar is matched 5:1 through DC’s public campaign financing.
