My name is Monique Jones, and I'm running because I believe that in Fayetteville, we have the ability to effectively address issues like food insecurity, affordable housing, provide greater support for small businesses, and ensure that all students, including those with disabilities have access to the resources they need.
I run the food pantry at my church, St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, feeding our families in need. A large part of why I'm running is because I see too many of our neighbors seeking out our services because they're being squeezed by our city's housing crisis and the rising cost of living here.
I believe we can respect tradition in Fayetteville while also embracing progress, and make sure we are engaging our community about their lived experiences and perspectives. I am committed to working with the community to bring positive change to Ward 4, and I believe we can accomplish great things working together. Can you chip in today to help me win this race?
