Purpose of Fund
The Moral Courage Fund seeks to close the gap between Faith Leaders’ desire to respond to alarming shifts in society and ability to respond, by offering resources otherwise inaccessible for faith-based movement-building in times of rapid need and response. Funds raised through this initiative will be distributed to grassroots efforts across the United States to train, organize, support, and mobilize leaders, by reducing financial barriers to critical infrastructure needs during this unprecedented time.
The Moral Courage Fund will provide financial support for efforts surrounding moral based responses throughout the country, which are unique based on location, activities, and needs. Examples of ways the fund provides support include (but are not limited to) the following: transportation, lodging, travel, food, facilities, technology support, supplies, legal, training, etc. Ongoing or long-term financial support, for organizations or individuals, is not available at this time.
