Support Nancy Morales for Kent County Commissioner!

Hello!

Thank you for visiting this page! Your contribution will help pave the way for Nancy to represent Wyoming, the Black Hills and the Roosevelt Park Neighborhoods by aiding with the costs of the campaign trail. You are very appreciated!

These are some of the areas Nancy is prioritizing:

  1. Economic Sustainability through investments in arts and culture. District 20 is culturally rich and vibrant, and that deserves to be celebrated!
  2. Community Sustainability via supporting health, wellness, housing, and municipal infrastructure.
  3. Environmental Sustainability, by protecting our green spaces such as parks and recreational areas, as well as ensuring that present and future residents have access to clean air, pure water, and healthy soil.

Nancy hails from a background in community-facing work thanks to the various hats she has worn, ranging from teaching art workshops and classes, working at the local library, managing a community garden and farmer's market, and working as a climate justice advocate. This work and proximity to her community has inspired her to step up to represent her neighbors in the county commission. Although Nancy is far from her hometown on the sunny West Coast, she has fallen in love with the natural beauty of Michigan. She has settled down in the city of Wyoming, where she gardens, hangs out with her pup Umi and her cat Child, reads, makes art, and takes many walks through the neighborhood.
