Together with our global nonprofit partner, Movikarma, we are creating new opportunities for marginalized creative voices in the arts, media and entertainment.
With your support of Creators for Harris, we'll elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz - two champions for the arts and inclusion in entertainment - and pass Rep. Maxwell Frost's CREATE Art Act, which would create our nation's first federally funded grant system for individual artists of all disciplines.
Every dollar you donate to the Movikarma Action Fund will support:
- Initiatives to urge federal, state and local officials to create the first National Film Fund to provide resources for the creation of original, socially impactful independent stories and content.
- Paid apprenticeship and internship programs for underrepresented talent, including Black, Latino, Native, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and other marginalized individuals, to gain hands-on experience in Hollywood and beyond.
- Opportunities for a new generation of underrepresented talent to take on leadership roles throughout the arts, media and entertainment.
By standing together to elect Kamala Harris as our next President and passing legislation that supports underrepresented artists, we'll change the world to empower new storytellers everywhere.
